Shary's Teaching History
"Throughout my years of teaching I have found that each of us is creative and can experience joy through artistic expression. Art making is as much about personal reflection and enjoying the process, as it is about experimenting, taking chances and mastering technique. My classes provide instruction, ideas, technical demonstrations and a wide variety of mixed media materials offered in a positive, fun and mutually supportive atmosphere. I encourage students to understand and explore the elements and principles of design and composition in their work and to experience success in their creative process."
